You’ll find StitchUpp at 12 High Street East in the beautiful market town of Uppingham, located in the county of Rutland in the East Midlands, located on the A47 between Leicester, Peterborough, Stamford, Oakham and Corby. If you’re driving, put LE15 9PZ in your satnav.

The shop is located just east of the Market Place, where you’ll find parking free-of-charge for one hour and on High Street East free-of-charge parking for two hours. Additionally, there are two car parks in town. On North Street East, you’ll find Long Stay with charges applying between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Sunday and a smaller car park on Queen Street. Free-of-charge parking is available just outside the town centre (see the map below).

We’re pleased to inform wheelchair users that you’ll find dropped kerbs on the High Street offering easy access.  The entrance to the shop has no steps, and we are happy to help you over the low threshold.

We’re open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am til 5.00pm. If you’re planning a special visit you can find information regarding breaks and holidays on our facebook page, or feel free to email jane (at) stitchupp.co.uk or call 01572 850 032.

If you’re planning a project or just looking for a perfect gift idea you’ll find plenty in Uppingham including flowers, glass, china, jewellery, books, cutlery, silver, art, antiques, furniture, mirrors, homeware, fashion and formal menswear. Art is very important to Uppingham, and you’ll find a number of art galleries; some showing pieces worth large sums of money to independent local artists. Visitors come from far and wide to admire and appreciate the pieces on offer.

You’ll find hidden gems on every corner and it’s worth exploring the little alley ways. There are plenty of places to eat and drink around town, which cater for a range of tastes and budgets. Whether you prefer a restaurant or traditional country inn, cosy English tea room or modern coffee bar with wifi, you'll be sure to find something to tempt your taste buds. There are many other facilities such as cash machines, pharmacies, a petrol station, supermarket and post office.
